Rules & Policies

IMPORTANT INFO

  • BCMF is a rain or shine event.
  • All ticket holders are subject to search upon entry.
  • Line-up is subject to change without notice.
  • Bring your ID to drink. If you are caught drinking underage, or sharing drinks with an individual who is underage, you will be removed from the festival grounds, your wristbands will be cut off, and you will not be permitted back in. Your ticket will not be refunded.
  • You may leave the festival site and return with your official BCMF wristband on.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Wristbands are non-transferable once applied and will be voided if tampered with, broken, or lost.
  • Wristband replacements are available at Will Call for a $10 fee, subject to verification.
  • No pets permitted – service animals only.

WRISTBAND POLICY

All tickets will be delivered in the form of a wristband – the wristband is your ticket. Wristbands are non-transferable once applied and will be voided if tampered with, broken, or lost. Wristbands will begin shipping in waves approximately 3-4 weeks before the event. You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has shipped! Orders unable to be delivered under any circumstances (lost/stolen/errors/forgot/dog scared the postman away/returned to sender/deemed “undeliverable” by USPS) must be picked up at Will Call.

TICKET WILL CALL POLICY
In order to pick up your BCMF wristbands, you must present a valid ID that matches the name used to purchase the ticket. If you are not the original purchaser, you must provide a copy of the original purchaser’s ID and the Etix order confirmation for wristband pickup. No exceptions. You must have the original Etix order number to pick up your wristbands. BCMF and Etix can not authenticate or verify tickets purchased through any third-party ticketing platforms (StubHub, VividSeats, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, etc.) or marketplaces (Facebook, Craigslist, etc.).

  • Reusable Empty Water Bottles – Non-Glass. Reusable water bottles inclusive of plastic, aluminum or steel. The container can be clear or not as long as you can show at the entry gate it is empty by turning it upside down.

  • Single-use minis, e-cigs and vape pens (No liquid refills)
  • Cigarettes (sealed). NOTE: Cigarette smoking is prohibited in viewing areas. Please be respectful of all fest goers and smoke in densely populated areas.

DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY
You must be 21 years of age or older to drink at BCMF and 21+ wristband required to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol. You must present a valid ID at one of our ID stations in order to receive your 21+ wristband each day. BCMF is a zero tolerance event. All local and state laws will be strictly enforced. There will be no tolerance for illegal activities. If you are caught drinking underage, or sharing drinks with an individual who is underage, you will be removed from the festival grounds, your wristbands will be cut off, and you will not be permitted back in. Your ticket will not be refunded.

New Jersey Alcoholic Beverage Control: Must be 21 & Older to purchase or consume alcohol.

USE IT. LOSE IT.
By order of the NJABC, if you present a false identification to obtain a 21+ wristband, you will be removed from the festival for the duration of the event and your festival wristband will be cut-off. No re-entry. No refund.

The Festival Premises are Licensed to engage in the selling of Alcoholic Beverages pursuant to Title 33 of the New Jersey Alcoholic Beverage Control Act- which prohibits the Sale or Service to and  Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages By Anyone Under 21.   The Festival is subject to the following requirements of the NJABC regarding underage drinking (Please read closely):

  • Any individual below the legal age to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages on the licensed premise found to be in possession of or consuming an alcoholic beverage must be removed from the festival and will not be permitted to re-enter for the remainder of the festival.
  • Any individual that presents fictitious identification or unexpired identification not issued in that person’s name in order to obtain a 21+ wristband to denote that person is of the legal age to possess or consume alcoholic beverages must be removed from the festival and will not be permitted to re-enter for the remainder of the festival.
  • Any violator of Title 33  of the New Jersey Alcoholic Beverage Control Act shall also be subject to prosecution.

BEACH PARKING/TAILGATING
Tailgating or consumption of alcohol or any kind in the beach parking lot is prohibited and will be strictly enforced. For the safety of attendees and their vehicles, the beach parking lot will be monitored throughout the event. AWD or 4WD is MANDATORY in order to park on the beach. Vehicles cannot exceed 8 foot 6 inches in height. Tailgating or consumption of alcohol or any kind in the beach parking lot is prohibited and will be strictly enforced. For the safety of attendees and their vehicles, the beach parking lot will be monitored throughout the event.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Barefoot Country Music Fest has a clear bag policy to provide everyone with a safer festival experience, as well as to decrease the time it takes to get into the show. Please take note of the following, prior to making your way to the festival.

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
    (Official BCMF Logo clear tote, drawstring and fanny packs plastic bags will be available through festival merchandise outlets)
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or smaller)
  • Small, non-clear bags, that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” in size, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the fest with one of the clear plastic bags.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs that are not see-through, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

* A small clutch bag is defined as – “approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”

AGE RESTRICTIONS
BCMF is open to all ages. Children 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian with a wristband. Children 11 and older must have a wristband to enter the festival site and be accompanied by an adult with a wristband.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
When you enter the Barefoot Country Music Fest (“BCMF”) event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by BCMF and its affiliates / representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar BCMF events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities BCMF. You release BCMF, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by BCMF or the person or entity designated to do so by BCMF. When you enter BCMF, you have consented, waiver of liability.
