Stars + Stripes Theme Night!

Hey y’all! Stars + Stripes Day is almost here! In case you didn’t know, Saturday, August 21 is our patriotic theme night – bring all the RED, WHITE and BLUE! It’s going to be an exciting day! Y’all have an outfit picked out or what? Don’t wait ‘til the last minute – we’ll be able to tell! In case y’all didn’t know, as part of our #BCMFBeKind program (https://barefootcountrymusicfest.com/bcmfbekind-movement/) we are going to be searching the crowds for the most patriotic folks out there! You could win a meet and greet with one of our artists, prize packs, upgrades and more! Y’all excited now?

We’ve put together a few things for y’all in case y’all can’t decide on what to wear so, make sure you go by the merch tent when you get to the fest! We are talking red, white, and blue HEAD TO TOE! Face makeup, jewelry, nail polish, hair dye, bandanas – get creative!

Here’s an FYI on what to expect on this special day:

On site will be Mark Geist, a private security contractor and founder of The Shadow Warriors Project. He was injured while protecting citizens inside the CIA security Annex from a terror attack on September 12, 2012. After struggling to find a way to provide for his family, he started a foundation to support those who have so bravely and anonymously offered their own life for the lives and safety of others. We are so excited to have them join us at BCMF! Shadow Warriors Project will be at the fest all weekend long doing dog presentations and Mark Geist will be doing a signing of his book ’13 hours’ on Saturday at 7 PM! If you want to donate to Shadow Warriors Project text SHADOW to 91999 or visit www.shadowwarriorsproject.org/donate!

They’re putting on a show on the Bud Light Seltzer Main Stage on Saturday at 6:30 PM you won’t want to miss! The show will include the Special Forces Association Parachute team jump, a National Anthem performance by Carolyn Miller, an F-16 flyover provided by the 177th Fighter Wing, and a special dog recipient presentation. Make sure your eyes are to the sky and on that stage!
