Trade your time for a Barefoot Country Music Fest experience you will never forget!
Opportunities are open in various areas, including but not limited to:
- Gate Check-In: Assisting at the Festival Gates by making sure each attendee entering has a valid wristband that is appropriately tightened and is scanning their wristband upon entry. This shift is outside and requires standing.
- ID Station: Assisting at the ID Stations by checking for valid 21+ identification and applying wristbands on age-verified festival attendees. Shifts are outside and mostly standing.
- Staff Check-In: Assisting at Staff Check-In by registering staff and checking them in and out for scheduled shifts. This shift is outside and does have seated opportunities.
- Will Call: Assisting at Will Call with ticketing and wristband pickup. Basic technology knowledge is required. This shift is inside and not within the festival grounds – you may not be able to hear the music while inside.
- Customer Service: Assist Customer Service stations at festival gates and throughout the festival grounds by providing FAQs, directions, and lost-and-found, etc., during festival hours. This shift is outside and does have seated opportunities.

- General Admission access to all 4 days of BCMF

Please read the volunteer requirements and the terms & conditions outlined below completely before applying. Individual volunteer positions will be available based on festival needs and application order.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older on or before May 31, 2025, and provide a valid photo ID.
- A $125 ticket deposit (via debit or credit card) is required at the time of registration.
- Deposits are refunded within 30 days post-festival, as long as you complete your work requirements and follow the volunteer rules.
- Failure to check in or out at the staff check-in tent forfeits your deposit.
- Volunteers must commit to work two 8-hour shifts (16 hours total) to complete their volunteer requirements. This includes signing in and out at the staff check-in tent.
- Each volunteer must use a unique email address for registration and communication. Sharing email addresses between volunteers is not permitted.
- Volunteers must be on time for all scheduled shifts. Arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift to allow ample time for check-in.
- Volunteers must wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and be prepared for the elements (e.g. sunscreen & rain gear for outdoor shifts). Volunteers will receive one (1) volunteer t-shirt to wear during their shifts. This shirt cannot be worn when not actively working
- Theft, consuming drugs or alcohol, or sharing your wristband will result in revoked festival access, deposit forfeiture, and potential legal action.
- BCMF is not responsible for lost or stolen items; leave valuables at home.
- Approved volunteers will receive a non-transferable 4-day volunteer wristband (General Admission)
Shift Scheduling:
- Volunteers will choose shifts in the order applications and deposits are received.
- Two (2) shifts are available daily for most positions.
- Early registration increases your chances of securing preferred shifts.
How to Apply:
- Review and Agree: Read and agree to the terms & conditions and volunteer requirements.
- Complete the Application: Submit your application by May 15, 2025. The application can be found here once released.
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email after your application and payment have been accepted.
Shift Selection:
- Shift selection opens the week of May 15, 2025. Volunteers will receive an email providing access and instructions to select their shifts in the order in which applications were received.
- Read and follow the instructions carefully to ensure you successfully select and secure your shifts. Volunteers are responsible for committing to the shifts they sign up for.
- A confirmation email will be sent with your selected shifts.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to volunteers@barefootcountrymusicfest.com by May 1, 2025. Late cancellations forfeit deposits.
Refund Policy:
Refunds, including cancellations, will be processed 30 days post-festival.
