Southern Rounds

Dave Kennedy Bio:

Dave Kennedy is a storyteller at heart—and it shows. His songs unfold like scenes from a film, painting a vivid portrait of America through characters navigating love, heartbreak, humor, sin, redemption, and revenge, often tracing the songwriter’s own footsteps along the way. Bringing these stories to life is a soaring, powerful voice that pulls listeners in from the very first chorus.

With a dynamic balance of strength and subtlety, Dave moves seamlessly through each narrative, embracing both the highs and the lows—the highways and backroads, the loves lost and the ones that linger. It’s this depth and authenticity that have earned him a reputation as one of Nashville’s most respected songwriters and artists. Collaborators like Travis Tritt, Riley Green, Whiskey Myers, Drake White, and Larry Fleet continue to seek him out, both in the writing room and on stage.

Having just wrapped up recording new music for the first time in several years, Dave is looking forward to sharing his first full length album with the world later in 2026.
