Our Frontline Heroes!

When Covid came about, it threw us all for a loop. Not being able to party with you guys on the beach was the worst. The concern for the safety of all of our loved ones, the stress and anxiety WE ALL faced day-to-day, then moving the BCMF dates, praying all of our line up could make the move with us – it was just almost too much for these country guys and gals to handle. During that time we were all so thankful for the frontline workers – they didn’t have any breaks and couldn’t hole up and hide. They deserve a medal of honor for bravery.

We didn’t have a medal to give but we do have access to a kickass country music party on the beach with Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Currington, Jon Pardi, Chris Lane, Jimmie Allen and 30+ of country’s hottest artists. Plus, right on the beach in Wildwood between the two Morey’s Piers – we just thought this might be even better than a medal if we could give these hardworking front line workers the much needed break they deserved – SO WE DID!

As promised, we donated 500 tickets to those special folks through online nominations from you, our fans. We had the best time surprising those folks in almost 50 states in the U.S. We also had a good friend named John Lynch that works for the Wildwood Tourism office and he told us he would help us surprise ‘in-person’ those local folks in the area. You brought us to tears with the stories we heard and read and it brought us so much joy to give these tickets to such deserving people. We’ve laughed and cried at the videos of folks squealing, screaming and their own tears of joy as they realized they won tickets to Barefoot Country Music Fest. We’ve gathered up a handful of winner photos from our #BCMFBeKind Frontline Worker ticket giveaway to share with you – please help us in giving them a round of applause and thank them for all they have done. Frontline workers don’t just start and end at the hospital or doctor’s office – we also gave tickets to grocery store workers, school nurses, gas station attendants, teachers, the sweet lady that rings up your liquor (and many more) – you know, all the ones we can’t live without during a pandemic. : )

Thank you to all those that have helped get us through this pandemic. We love and appreciate you and we can’t wait to be with you (safely) on the beach August 19-22 this summer. Remember, Thursday night has now been added to the weekend – don’t miss this kick-off party – we have a lot to celebrate!
